Aesthetics + Energy Efficiency

This custom two-story home located amongst the woods was designed in close collaboration with our clients who envisioned a clean, minimal Scandinavian aesthetic paired with high energy efficiency performance. Prioritizing defined spaces over an open floor plan, the layout was intentionally configured to frame views of the surrounding property while creating a sense of separation and purpose for each room.

The library is a calm, comforting space designed for quiet reading and solitude. The partially finished lower level provides additional living space, with a relaxed family room, a dedicated office, guest bedroom and full bathroom. Tucked in a corner just off the dining room is the perfect desk nook, a thoughtful use of space – ideal for work, study, or daily tasks.

To further connect the indoors with the surrounding landscape, a light filled screened porch extends off the dining area – seamlessly expanding the home’s living and entertaining space.
