This charming 1940’s Ann Arbor Water Hill home had an extensive interior remodel that seamlessly kept the vintage charm while integrating more modern conveniences for our clients.

Our clients now have a true mudroom that draws you into the small original kitchen area that was transformed into a prep space with sink, pantry, and coffee bar. We centrally relocated the kitchen giving these cooks a beautiful space to create and entertain. The heart of the home is filled with large windows that bring in enormous amounts of natural light and views of the spectacular gardens, while giving sight lines into several rooms after expanding and enlarging multiple cased door openings, truly creating a more open floor plan.

We also completed two bathroom remodels. The first floor bathroom was reconfigured and the office doorway moved to allow for aging in place for the future, should they choose to move their bedroom to the main floor. The upstairs bathroom consisted of flipping the vanity and shower locations for better flow and storage. Wood floors were also refinished throughout for consistency.
